Dr. Stefanie Hansen is a board-certified large animal surgeon with extensive international training and clinical expertise. She earned her veterinary degree at the University of Copenhagen and completed an internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Kentucky. Following private-practice roles in England and Denmark, she pursued a residency in Large Animal Surgery and a Master’s degree at Purdue University, and later served as an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. At the Abu Dhabi Equine and Camel Hospital (ADECH), Dr. Hansen contributes her advanced surgical skills and deep commitment to equine and camel welfare, strengthening the hospital’s specialist team.
