Dr. Bachir Maroof graduated with a B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from King Faisal University in February 2022, where he focused on equine and camel medicine. He completed a one-year internship at Riyadh Equine Hospital, gaining hands-on experience in lameness evaluations, diagnostic imaging, and anaesthesia.

Following is internship, Dr. Bachir continued at the same hospital as a junior veterinarian, specializing in ICU care, emergency treatments, and surgeries. He is passionate about continuous learning and enjoys horse riding and watching horse races. A particular fan of Arrogate, the 2017 Dubai World Cup winner, he actively participates in veterinary conferences and has delivered lectures on Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Haemorrhage (EIPH). Dr. Bachir recently joined the ADECH team, committed to providing exceptional care for animals in the UAE
