Dr. Diego Gomez is a board-certified specialist of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Management and a PhD in Veterinary Infectious Diseases from the University of Guelph. Dr. Gomez has held academic positions at both the Ontario Veterinary College and the University of Florida, where he made significant contributions to clinical care, research, and veterinary education. At the Abu Dhabi Equine and Camel Hospital (ADECH), he leads the internal medicine service, offering advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex equine and camel cases.
